The Response

I had a textverstation I promised not to respond to... So I will blog vent where no one will ever see.

My text: I will not be able to help plan nor will we attend your wedding as it is our first wedding anniversary. Honestly I am hurt that you would ignore me for a year then ask me to help plan an event on my first wedding anniversary. It puts me in a position to either not attend an event I helped plan or to have to sacrifice my happiness for yours. All that would be find if you had told me before I agreed to help or as soon as I knew. I would have helped plan then not attended as I will ne out of town. However, I find it inconsiderate an crass that you I would have to find this out in a mass email. It means a you either forgot my wedding which you at a year ago. Or you don't feel its important enough to acknowledge. Whichever is true it means you don't care about me as a person. I'm ok with that. It's good to know. Best of luck to you your baby family and friends on your days.

Her response: Megan you are delusional. Out of common courtesy I keep my commentary to myself. But you've officially pushed me too far. I asked for help with INVITATIONS. But your head is so far up your ass you can't even do that. Don't worry, my family will be great. And April 1 is not only significant to you. Other people have significant events that have happened on that day too. But again, your "head-up-my-ass" syndrome has blinded your MINOR  ability to be logical. So forget I asked. Forget me. Because you're pushing me out of character. So do you and I'll do me. And I BEG you not to respond because my grudge holding ability is very strong right now and will only be of detriment to you.

The response that will never be: 1 I say Im hurt and that you don't care about me and you respond with anger. When I accidentally hurt someone and they tell me they are hurt, I attempt to assuage their pain because I care. That further proves my point. 2 You had 1 of 2 things in mind to either have me help with invitations to an event I was not invited to, or not be able to attend an event for which I made the invitations.it is loose loose for me. To put someone in a loose loose is inconsiderate 3 I realize the day may ne important to you. Does that prevent you from acknowledging it is important to me? Before my wedding I personally called anyone for whom I thought my wedding may be an imposition. I thanked them for considering to come inspite of... But that's me. 4 finally as for your threat... Of what detriment can you be. I have a husband who loves me who have never lied to, so you can't hurt that. To harm me physically or financially would harm my children as well. If you are that evil go ahead, negatively affect the lives of innocent children I tried to quit my job they asked me to stay. Even if you could get me fired, again to get me fired would hurt my kids so. Then we come to our friends. One hates you now so good luck with that. The only other two we have in common approved the text message before I sent it. Hell the opening line is a direct quote from their suggestions. I asked them for advice because they know I lack tact. They thought what I said was tactful and appropriate. Face it, short of ignoring me, which is what you did all year until you needed my help, you can't hurt me. So do your worst... I'm curious to see how a good Christian like yourself can do detriment to me without purposely sinning. I do wish you the best. I mean that. I hold no malice. I never wished you ill will. I just said I won't be there. You hurt me, and you don't care.

Letters to Logan

Dear Logan,

Passion does not a life make. You burn with passion behind an icy steel skeletal structure. Your touch hard as steel but ferocity burns in your eyes.

The Phoenix Saga has ended. I can not control her powers I only keep her contained. Though she is a powerful force, she is uncontrollable. I must do all I can to protect Scott from the Phoenix. Your adamantium is the only substance that can with stand her wrath, and your regeneration allows you to return time and time again? But why put anyone through that? I will contain the Phoenix for the safety of all involved.

Dogma of my Baptism

Ok I was baptized raised and confirmed, yes confirmed, Catholic.

I attempt to be a practicing Catholic, but I have problems getting with religion of most kinds let alone Christianity. However, in honor of Lent, there are some things I’d like to clear up about my religion. I will not defend it, but I will make some things clear.

WE ARE CHRISTIANS. In fact we are the FIRST Christians. We are the apostolic faith in its origin. There was Jesus, death, Peter, Constantine, us. Linear. We are the church of Peter.

PROTESTANTS: Most (not all, I gets down with the Methodists and the Lutherans) Protestants came from the Church of England. This was a church started by in opposition to the Catholic Church because they would not let him annul his consummated marriage to Catherine of Argon to marry Anne Boyle. He had a habit of getting married (6 times) then divorcing/ beheading his wives. No big.

THE BIBLE: Catholic and Protestant Bibles both include 27 books in the New Testament. Protestant Bibles have only 39 books in the Old Testament, however, while Catholic Bibles have 46. The seven books included in Catholic Bibles are Tobit, Judith, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach, and Baruch. Catholic Bibles also include sections in the Books of Esther and Daniel, which are not found in Protestant Bibles. These books are called the deuterocanonical books. The Catholic Church considers these books to be inspired by the Holy Spirit. These books came out BEFORE the many versions and corrections of the Protestant Bible.

SAINTS: Certain Catholic saints are associated with certain life situations. These patron saints intercede to God for us. We can take our special needs to them and know they will listen to our prayers, and pray to God with us. We do not worship them. We do not pray to them. We ask them to JOIN US in our prays to God, or to pray for us when we’re busy like doing biochem and can’t concentrate to pray on our own. It is kinda like when more than one gathers in his name he’s there kinda thing. Sometimes you can’t always have another person there, Saints substitute for the other person. They are patron Saints because they are good at praying about certain things. Like you don’t want drunken uncle Cletus to pray at thanks giving you ask ain’t Bertha, cause she’s better at it.

THE VIRGIN MARY: Similarly we do not worship the Virgin Mary. We do give her praise, however. God choose her to have his freaky kid for Christ’s sake’s (couldn’t avoid the pun.) I think that’s pretty bomb. But even in the Hail Mary we say, “pray for our sinners, now and at the hour of our death.” Not save them, not forgive them, pray for them. Ain’t that the same thing MOST OTHER Christians do in their’ prayer requests? Ask other people to pray for them?

PURGATORY: I got nothing really. I mean supposedly it’s the third state before being admitted to heaven. According to Roman Catholic dogma, some souls are not sufficiently free from sin and its consequences to enter the state of heaven immediately, nor are they so sinful as to be destined for hell either. These souls, ultimately destined to be united with God in heaven, must first endure purgatory—a state of purification. In purgatory, souls achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven. Other dogma associated with this is that this is the place unbaptized children go, who have either accepted Jesus or died before understanding go. Also the ignorant, like populations of remote lands not yet touched by the western world, who have never been introduced to Christ, go. I think it’s a crock of shit, but I said I was gonna be honest and not defend my church.

Welp there you go dogma, history, clarification, and understanding.

Facebook Chains... So Outta Line

These face book chain notes are getting outta hand. I did 2 and I thought... "yeah something to pass to time at work." And then I saw 25 revenge, 48 questions, and then someone posted on my wall in case I did a second 21 people and got pissed. Why do we insist on answering the most RANDOM questions known to man then tagging our friends, so they can answer them an annoy 21+ other people. Yes they do stave off work/ school’s boring lulls, but come one. It's not even an original concept anymore. The new ones are being created by people who are so bored they make new ones and pretend to just be "passing it on." I remember when this happened on myspace... then I remember deleting my page. Come on facebookians... do better. If you really wanna know random shit about your friends ask them. And if you want them to know random shit about you tell them.

In fact I will start! From this day on I will find at least one person a day on my friends list tell them something random and ask them something equally random. It's slightly more personal then attempting to tell people mass amounts of random shit for shock value.

Now go forth, copy/ paste the last 2 paragraphs and tag 25 people so that they go randomly hit up at least on person a day on their walls. LOL J/K I had too. It was there fore the taking. LOL I crack me up. LOL.

But seriously the chains? Soooo last week. And for the first two chains I’m sorry I now stand in solidarity with those who refuse to do them.

The Birth of a Blogger

Since I entered the work force I’ve begun to spend 7-8 hours daily on the computer (some of it is work). This has largely resulted in 3 things 1) I change my facebook status almost hourly 2) I have become obsessed with thefreshxpress.com 3) I have decide to start a blog. (However, because of my CrackBerry I never go on gmail to check my mail anymore.) I would like to thank Justin, Nneka, and Xtina (and by extension Pilar) for the inspiration.

I often rant in Facebook notes, and my facebook status, and y AIM status, so ranting on a site that is designed for ranters is the next logical step. Besides maybe if I write my thoughts, I will save others the pain and discomfort of having to hear them against their will. When I Blog we all win!
